Rebates

There are a number of rebates and government initiatives for children undergoing speech pathology.

This Medicare rebate is available for a maximum of 5 services per patient per calendar year. Referrals made from your GP for children who require ongoing care.

We support NDIS for those children, adolescents and adults who are eligible for the national disability insurance scheme who are self managed.

​

Children diagnosed with ASD or PDD​ may be eligible to claim rebates up until the child turns 13 years of age. The program is initiated by your paediatrician. Your child may be eligible for 4 assessments and 20 sessions.
